Subfactor is a personal finance tracking app that helps users manually manage savings balances, expenses, credits, subscriptions, liabilities, investments, goals, and related records.
Information We Collect
When you use Subfactor, we may collect the following information:
Account information such as your name, email address, city, and country.
Optional profile picture if you choose to upload one.
Financial records that you manually enter, such as savings balances, current account balances, credit card or overdraft balances, loans, investments, subscriptions, credits, and expenses.
App usage records required for app functionality, such as export history, login sessions, and security logs.
Subfactor does not automatically fetch your bank account data, SMS messages, UPI transactions, card transactions, or live financial records. All financial information inside the app is entered manually by the user.
How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
Provide the app's finance tracking features.
Show balance summaries, charts, goals, and reports.
Allow you to export your own data to Excel by email.
Help you log in securely using your email address and password.
Improve reliability, security, and user experience.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal or financial data.
We may use trusted service providers only to operate the app, such as cloud database hosting, server hosting, and storage.
These services are used only to run Subfactor and are not allowed to use your data for their own marketing.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect user data, including access controls, secure server configuration, and protected API routes. However, no online system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
Your Choices
You can update your profile details inside the app. You can also delete and reset your app data from the Profile screen. This removes your app records from our server while keeping your login account active, unless otherwise requested.
Data Retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide app functionality. If you delete or reset your app data, the related records are removed from our active systems.
Children's Privacy
Subfactor is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
